Republican Paul airs first ads, seeks more support in NH
WASHINGTON – Underdog Ron Paul is airing the first TV ads of his presidential campaign, hoping to capitalize on a fundraising surge and promote his blend of anti-war, anti-spending libertarianism in New Hampshire.
The two 30-second spots are part of a $1.1 million series of five ads that the Republican congressman intends to air in the state in November and December.
One ad, called "Catching On," features New Hampshire residents voicing their support, including a self-described undeclared voter who says he will vote in the Republican primary simply to cast a ballot for Paul.
The ad says nothing about Paul's stands on the issues and simply attempts to capture the interest he has been generating, particularly on the Internet.
The second commercial, "Troops and Deficits," spells out two central tenets of Paul's campaign -- getting U.S. troops out of Iraq and balancing the budget.
Paul gained attention this month when his campaign reported raising a surprising $5.2 million from July through September.
Paul is the only Republican presidential candidate who has called for a quick exit from Iraq.

The Republicrats and Demopublicans have done nothing for this country but make it more of a centralized feeding trough for every whiner's pet project. Ron Paul would at least try to put a stop to this. Maybe it is time ALL Americans stand up for a change and vote him in and show the whiners we want a constitutional government not the whimsical government we now have.

With all those candidates running for president and the promises they say they will do I'm reminded of the hymn, "Standing on the promises of God". Out of the bunch of Dem. & Rep. I can find only one that has not only stuck to a promise that he made as a Representative of Texas, but lived it. That man is Ron Paul. Rep. Ron Paul took an solemn oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution and has voted accordingly to all the issues that came before him in Congress.
That is all the more reason to vote for Ron Paul.

It is wonderful to see and hear everyones opinion. It shows that we do still have somewhat of a free country. The polls, one only knows how credible they are, still show Ron Paul down in the standings. The mainstream media still claims he does not have a chance. Personally I am a Ron Paul supporter and once the dust has settled after the NH Primary I will gladly serve up the crow pie to all the naysayers including the biased bought and paid for MSM!

Ron Paul has more money than McCain (and Romney if he weren't lending himself money). He has won EVERY straw poll in NH, by large margins. His fundraising is continuing to climb - it's likely he will raise close to $3M in the single month of Oct. He got more donations from the miltary than ANY OTHER candidate last quarter. He is now polling 4th in NH. He's catching on, there is no doubt.

I've said it before and it looks like I have to say it again. Please dont believe the NAY sayers here they like the government spread Fear Ron Paul spreads Freedom. Ron Paul is a man of integrity and intelligence, he has the best voting record of any Congressmen and has had more books and essays published than any of his collegues.
He will absolutely do what he promises, which is why those of the establishment are afraid. Frankly as one of his vocal supporters I think those that wish to keep the status quo are disgraceful and thats putting it lightly. Please take the time to listen to his message of Liberty, he means it, and he is the REAL DEAL folks.

Ron Paul has a legion of supporters who believe in limited government and personal liberty. As Kevin of Lancaster pointed out, no other candidate more fully embodies the principles that the people of New Hampshire have espoused since the very beginning.
Mr. Fortin's remarks don't even amount to an argument. The only miasma that fouls our once clear air comes from the hindmost ends of lightheaded members of the Republocrat orthodoxy like him.
If you want a return to government run on principle, and not on polls, vote for Ron Paul.

Keep an eye on this candidate. He could surprise you. Our 16th President wasn't a rich man either and became one of our greatest. His name was Lincoln.

Ron Paul absolutely fits the NH ideal of small, decentralized government, social conservatism, fiscal restraint, low taxes, and live-and-let-live. The same reasons NH consistently voted for Republicans for over a century, until the party lost its way.
If you're tired of Election Day being a coin toss between the lesser of two evils, then vote for a true breath of fresh air: Ron Paul!
- Kevin, Lancaster
You have to give Ron Paul credit that he has a legion of pipe dreamer, however it will take more than letters to the Editors to get him any number of voters in the NH Primary. As it was said in past campaigns it's the votes that count, it's votes that make the difference between winning and losing and in that catergory he reminds me of Dennis Kucinich in his party "He" a real nowhere man:. Both are good for laughs in a tedious never ending campaign of promises that will never be kept. Hopefull all the miazma will end before they start polluting the quality of our air. There campaigns would not make a summer program for Commedy Central.
