MANCHESTER - Updated, 10:45 a.m. Police are searching this morning for a man who robbed TD BankNorth at 293 South Main Street. At 8:32 a.m., the man entered the bank and then passed a note to a teller. The note demanded cash and made reference to a weapon, although none was displayed.
Multiple gunshot wounds killed a Charlestown man Saturday during an altercation with police and a Keene-based state trooper who was shot remains hospitalized in stable condition. Court records reveal both the father and son involved in the case have long histories with the law.

EPSOM - Hammered by the brunt of last Thursday's deadly tornado, the town's emergency services are scrambling to pay for overtime, fuel and damaged equipment. "There's no money," said Rick Bilodeau, the town's emergency management coordinator.

LACONIA - Updated, 7:03 a.m. A local man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after he was stabbed during an argument last night, police said.

MANCHESTER - Pandemonium broke out in a courtroom yesterday morning after a city teen accused in a savage beating blew kisses at the victim's relatives, prompting one of them to stand and begin shouting at the defendant.

MOUNT WASHINGTON - SUMMER IS the most popular season for hikers to hit the trails in New Hampshire, but atop Mount Washington, there is growing concern about the number of ill-prepared hikers who have needed emergency care at the summit.
