Manchester - Two floods in the last two years did major damage in New Hampshire. Some victims have recovered on their own; some rebuilt with the help of government aid or private charity. Salem - Lana Lynch was happily married nine years ago when she and her husband bought an “adorable” bungalow with beach rights. Today, the separated mother of four struggles to maintain the 38 Shore Drive home as it disintegrates around her.

The hurricane's remains postponed gridiron games and other outdoor activities across New Hampshire yesterday, but there were no reports of serious damage.
MANCHESTER - Citing inaction by New Hampshire and Massachusetts regulators on Unitil's performance during last December's ice storm, a Hampstead man expressed his frustration in a message flown over southeastern New Hampshire yesterday.

"All of a sudden, we heard a whoosh -- it was like a two-second whoosh --- and it was kind of eerie," said Brad Chapman of the Adair Country Inn. "And then we heard a thump and we looked around and saw this ball of ice, 30, 40 feet away, tops."
A flood warning was posted last night for the Pemigewasset River at Woodstock and Plymouth through much of today.
MANCHESTER - The electric utility asks the PUC for delivery charge increase and energy charge decrease.
HAMPTON - A review is planned of the utility's response when December's ice storm left thousands without power for days and weeks.
MANCHESTER - Restoring power after the ice storm of 2008 cost Public Service of New Hampshire an estimated $75 million, $50 million of which the utility hopes to recover from customers over time.

BRENTWOOD - A Canadian trucking company is suing the state for $2.5 million, alleging that the failure to clear ice and snow off Interstate 93 led to the death of 6-year-old Brendon Mahoney two years ago.
